Overview

These pre-built integrations between GUIDEcx and itself enable you to deliver an even more powerful onboarding experience by giving you even more flexibility with dependencies.

Understanding the GUIDEcx Dependency Integrations

The GUIDEcx Dependency integration consists of 3 recipes.

The Set Dependency Across Templates in GUIDEcx recipe enables the ability for a task to be dependent on another task regardless of which templates the two tasks are on. This works great if you want to have the completion of a specific task to trigger another task in another template! (i.e. Task A in Template B can be triggered upon the completion of Task A in Template A.)

The Set Multi-Task Dependency in GUIDEcx recipe enables the ability for a task to be dependent on several other tasks regardless of which templates/milestones/task-groups the tasks are in. (i.e. Task D cannot be triggered until Tasks A, B, and C have all been completed.)

The Set Finish-to-Start Lag Across GUIDEcx Tasks recipe enables the ability for a task to be start x days AFTER the completion of the task it's dependent on. (i.e. Task B is dependent on the completion of Task A, but instead of starting immediately upon Task A's completion, you can now set a lag of 5 days. So now Task B becomes active 5 days after the completion of Task A)

Unlike other recipes, you can install one of these integrations and it will work. (These integrations aren't dependent on others to work).
