User Access: Admins, Managers, & Guide users can create templates from an existing project.
Create a template right from your project in just 4 easy steps!!
Click on the three dots in the upper right hand corner of your project
Select "Edit Templates"
Select "Create Template"
Name & Save Your New Template!!
After you have saved your template, only admin and manager users can access the template and edit it.
Best Practices:
If you are creating a template from an existing project, make sure to go through the template after it's been created to address anything that was specific to the original customer to make it more usable for a more general use case.
FAQs:
Will the template that is created automatically be published? Yes, It will be available to be used immediately after creation.
Will the attachments from the project also be added to the template? If the attachment was added to a TASK, it will be included in the new template. If it was added to the PROJECT it will not.
