Overview

Categorizing projects using differentiators like - the team working on it, the product being implemented, the timeline being followed, etc allows users to have quick access to the lists of projects they want to look at or export.

User Access

  • Admin, Manager & Guide users can edit/add/create/remove tags.

  • Task Owners, Contributors, Observers, Customers, and Third-Party users can view these tags on the projects and use them to filter the project list view.

How to Create and Add Project Tags

  1. To add a tag to a project, click on the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of your project overview screen.

  2. Click "Edit Project".

  3. Once you get to that screen, navigate to the "Tags" tab. Here, you can select the checkbox of the tags you want to add to your project or type in the name of a new tag you want to create.

Tag Visibility

Your tags can be hidden from customers by clicking the eye icon on the right side of the tag banner (shown below). If the eye icon does not have a slash through it, it will be visible when selected. If it does have a slash, then it will be hidden from view.

Best Practices

  • Color Coordinate your tags!

  • Ensure the visibility of the tag is set to hidden when tagging a project if you do not wish for the customer to see it. Keep the tag visible to external users if you wish for them to easily filter projects and save the filter for quick access.
