How to Invite Third-Party Users
Add a Third-Party User to GUIDEcx
Select the "3rd Parties" tab on the far-left column menu,
Select "+Add User" and add their name and email address.
Note: The organization column is reserved for users who are also users of GUIDEcx internally and therefore cannot be edited by companies who add the external party as a 3rd Party contributor.
Inviting a Third-Party User to a Project
You can invite Third-Party users to a project by assigning them a task in the plan or adding them to a project via the "Add Team Member" button found under the team tab in a project.
Third-party members must first be added as shown in the video above before being able to select them via the "Add Team Member" button under the Team Tab.
Best Practices
Add Franchisors and/or Corporate contacts as Third-Parties to give them visibility into the multiple locations you are launching. When they log in, they will see a screen similar to the one below, showing projects they have visibility into.
3rd Party Project View:
In order to assign a Third-Party contributor to a task, change the responsibility type of the task to "Third-Party." You can also make assignments to Third-Parties on the template level!
