The first step to getting started with GUIDEcx

You're invited, now what?

You should have received an email invitation that looks something like this:

Go ahead and click on that Complete Registration button.


Complete Registration

This is where that Complete Registration button will take you! Go ahead and fill in your details such as:

  • Enter you first and last name (required)

  • Phone number (optional)

  • Job role (optional, but recommended)

  • Profile photo (optional, but recommended)

  • Create a password (required)

  • Create your introduction (optional, but recommended)


Adjust your Notification Settings

You have full control to select when and how you get notified about your projects. By default everything will be turned on. We do this to help you train your eye to know what to look for in GUIDEcx.

You can adjust notifications by following these steps:

  1. Click on the 3 dots by your company name

  2. Open up the Profile Settings

  3. Select the Notifications tab and make your changes!

We recommend adjusting your notifications after 2 weeks so you know what each type of notifications you should look out for. Learn more about notifications here.


Set Up "My Team"

If you have an Admin or Manager license in GUIDEcx you can see all projects even if they aren't assigned to you. As you can imagine, if you have a large team this may be a lot of information to take in. That's why we built the "My Team" feature. When enabled your access is limited to projects, tasks and notifications related to you and your selected team members.

How do my customers create their account?

Customers are NOT required to register to view their project via email, compass, or web. However, if they would like to set up an account, they are more than welcome to. They simply need to view the project and edit their profile settings!

Can I edit someone else's settings on my team?

If you have an Admin or Manager license you can go into Company Details and edit the user's info and notification settings!

I don't see the My Team option

If you don't see this option then chances are you don't have the right access to have that feature. The My Team feature is only available to Admin + Managers. If you feel like you should have that access, then please reach out to the person who manages your GUIDEcx account!

I didn't get the Complete Registration Email

There are a few things to check to get that email so you can create your account:

  1. Check your spam folder. Sometimes these automated emails end up in there.

  2. Go to https://app.guidecx.com/ and click on "Resend Invite". This will prompt you to fill in your email address and then the invite will be resent.

  3. Check with your manager. Make sure they spelled your email address correctly!

  4. If your company uses SSO, make sure that they added you to the GUIDEcx app.

  5. If none of those options above worked, chat in to our support team and we'll help you out!
