Using the BCC options during project creation is now more robust

BCC all emails from “project manager” to the project manager

Here are the types of emails that have BCC functionality enabled:

  • Project Overview

  • Project Welcome

  • Milestone Complete

  • Task Assignment

  • Task Not Updated

  • Task Due Reminder

  • Event Invite

  • Attachment Added To Task

  • CSAT

  • Note Added To Watched Task

  • Overdue Watched Tasks

  • Subtask Mentions User

  • Task Group Completed

  • Task Should Have Started On

  • Task Status Changed

We have purposely not enabled the following types of emails in an effort to avoid duplication because they are already sent to the PM: Project Overdue Tasks, Project Complete, Project Running Late and Request Access To Project.

Please note, there currently isn’t an option to select which of these you want and which you don’t, it is an “all or nothing” feature. The receiver’s notifications also play a role in this process. For example, if a user doesn’t have their Task Assignment notification enabled, the PM can’t be BCC’ed on that email because it never gets sent due to the recipient' settings.

Note this list includes more email types due to the nature of being able to BCC them to someone other than the PM.
