GUIDEcx provides flexible tools to help you quickly find and organize tasks. Whether you’re managing a large project or reviewing a specific subset of work, searching, filtering, and sorting make it easy to stay focused on what work needs to be completed.
Permissions: What can different users see in the Global Tasks Page?
Admin + Managers can see all tasks across all projects independent if they are invited to the project.
Guides can see all tasks across projects they own and are invited to.
Task Owners + Contributors can only see tasks that they are assigned to.
Customers (with Full Plan access) + Third Parties can only see tasks that they are assigned to.
Searching
Use the search bar to quickly locate tasks using keywords.
Search by task name
Results update dynamically as you type
Tip: The search bar only queries the Task Column, if you want to search by certain customers or project name you can leverage filtering for that!
Filtering
Filters allow you to narrow down tasks to a specific subset based on defined criteria.
You can filter by:
Assignee
Task Status
Project Status
Tags (Task - not project tags)
Customer
Project
Responsibility
Visibility
Availability
Role
User Attributes
Only Overdue Tasks
Filtering is especially useful for:
Focusing on your own work
Identifying bottlenecks
Reviewing team performance
Managing overdue or unassigned tasks
Tip: Don't forget to save commonly used filters for quicker access to view different tasks! You can also set filters as defaults. Check out the video below to learn how to save a filter and set it as a default.
