  • Contributors & Task Owners: Use global task view if you are part of multiple projects and want one screen that shows all tasks assigned to you across all projects. You can use filters to display specific groups of tasks.

  • Guides & Managers: Use global task view if you are managing multiple projects and would like to see all tasks across all projects that you are managing. You can create filters to display specific groups of tasks

  • Admins: Use global task view if you are wanting to create filters, save filters, and create default views showing different teams’ tasks across your company.

  • Watchers: Users can be added as "Watchers" on tasks. As a watcher you are notified via email and in-app notification when the task you are watching becomes active and when the task status changes.

    • < New in October 2022 Release > Task Watch List: Users can now filter by "Tasks I'm Watching" to see all tasks they have been made a watcher on. This filter can be used in conjunction with other filters.

Pro tip: Admin, Manager & Guide users - utilize global task view as a quick way to be sure all tasks have been assigned out on your projects.

Note: Participant tasks that you are a participant on will show up in your global tasks.

PS: Guide’s Watch List lets users view tasks they are watching at any time, enabling a more proactive approach to managing and tracking tasks.

Filters on the global tasks page are a great way to see a specific grouping of tasks from across all projects in one spot. Popular filters include “Assignee”, “Statuses”, and “Tags” that you have created.

You can create and save filters in the global tasks page by clicking on the “Filter” option in the top-right corner. The following filters are available for global tasks:

You can use the filters you create to set up a default view in your global tasks page. Do this by clicking “My Filters” in the top-right corner and selecting the filter you want to see as your default global tasks page.
