Say goodbye to digging through emails to find attachments sent to you by other team members or by the customer! Task attachments make it easy to find and send attachments!
User Access
All team members can upload and download file attachments to/from tasks.
External team members can only upload and download attachments to/from notes/tasks where the visibility is set to external!
How to add an attachment to a task via GUIDEcx
Click on the paper clip (attachment) icon
Click on the UPLOAD button
Select the file(s) you'd like to upload
Upload them
Make the attachment accessible to internal users only, if necessary.
Save the attachment to the task
How to add an attachment to a task via email
REPLY ALL to the task assignment email
Attach your file(s) and leave a message in the email
Send the email
The email and attachments will appear in the task notes and attachments tab!
Best Practices
If you are providing the customer onboarding experience you should upload tasks via GUIDEcx.
You can share with the customer that they can REPLY ALL to a task email and their response will be saved to that task they responded to.
If you have an extensive conversation inside the Task Notes, instead of digging through those threads you can go to the attachment tab of the Task and find all attachments associated with that task! You can also do this on the project level for all attachments across the whole project.

How can I troubleshoot? Check to see if your browser is blocking popups. If you are then you'll need to allow GUIDEcx popups so you can upload attachments.
