Step 1: Adjust Your Notification Settings
Now that you have GUIDEcx, you will have full visibility into when tasks are almost due, when projects are running late, and if anyone needs help completing their tasks.
We offer four different types of notifications:
Email notifications
In-app notifications
Mobile app notifications
SMS notifications.
You can adjust notifications by following these steps:
Click on the 3 dots by your company name
Open up your Profile Settings
Select the Notifications tab and check the notifications you would like to receive.
Step 2: Set Up "My Team"
If you have an Admin or Manager license in GUIDEcx you can see all projects even if they aren't assigned to you. As you can imagine, if you have a large team this may be a lot of information to take in. That's why we built the "My Team" feature. When enabled your access is limited to projects, tasks and notifications related to you and your selected team members.
You can enable My Team by following these steps:
Click on the 3 dots by your company name
Open up your Profile Settings
Select the My Team tab (Only Admin + Managers will see this option)
Toggle My Team on
Select the people you want to be able to see their projects, tasks, and notifications.
Keep in mind that if you toggle My Team on, then data related to people not on your team will not appear.
Step 3: Enroll in GUIDEuniversity
We understand that learning the ropes of a new software as powerful as GUIDEcx can seem daunting. That's why we've built GUIDEu aka GUIDEuniversity. This is where you can go to learn best practices of GUIDEcx in little 30 min or less on-demand courses.
How to Access GUIDEu:
Log into GUIDEcx
Navigate to the Support Portal.
Click on the Guide University tile to sync your GUIDEcx account with Guide University and sign in.
What Courses Should I Start With?
We recommend that everyone takes the Trailhead Training.
Admin + Managers + Guides should take the Project Management Best Practices Course.
Admin + Managers should take the Cartographer Course as a guide to building their first templates.
Step 4: Join the GUIDEcx Community
We've built out a community for you to connect with other GUIDEcx users! The goal is to create a space where you can collaborate with others and learn how they use GUIDEcx so you can elevate your onboarding skills/experience.
Step 5: Join a New User Crash Course
We're excited to announce weekly instructor-led classes for new GUIDEcx users! You can go whenever works best for your schedule. In these live sessions you can quickly learn how to catch up to your team's use of GUIDEcx.
