Customer authentication for project and task access

In an effort to provide the most reliable and secure experience possible, GUIDEcx has implemented the use of one time email verification codes to facilitate customer access to projects and tasks.


1. When a customer clicks on a link in a GUIDEcx email, or uses a bookmarked link to access projects and tasks, they will be immediately directed to the project if they have accessed it within the last 14 days. If not, they will be directed to a screen to enter their email address:


2. The customer will enter their email address:


3. After clicking “Next”, the screen will update from GUIDEcx branding to your own branding with your company logo and a message prompting them to check their email for a one-time verification code. For security, the code cannot be shared and will expire in 15 minutes:


4. Your customer can copy and paste the code to the login page and click “Sign In”:


5. Your customer will then be taken to whatever page the link was directing them to, such as a project, task or note:

How often will customers need to enter this email code?

Once every 2 weeks customers will receive a one-time verification code to enter when accessing a project or task link
