One of our top priorities in designing the architecture for GUIDE 2.0 was performance. But for us, performance isn’t just about faster load times, it’s about building a smarter, more powerful foundation. GUIDE 2.0 is an AI-ready platform, built to support a wide range of intelligent use cases. And the first of those? Our new AI-driven feature: RAG Agentic Coach.
Overview
RAG is a familiar term in the project management world, used to indicate whether a project is on track (Green), showing early warning signs (Amber), or off track and delayed (Red). This simple status indicator helps project managers spot potential issues early and take action before they escalate. With GUIDE 2.0, project managers no longer need to sift through dozens of projects or rely solely on manual status updates—projects that need attention are now surfaced automatically, making it easier to focus on what matters most.
User Access
RAG is only available in GUIDE 2.0 and is not available in our Legacy application. RAG is only available for internal users to see, and is hidden from customer users.
At present, organizations can opt-in to an open beta for RAG Agentic Coach. Reach out to your CSM if you're interested in getting access.
Once GUIDEcx enables AI for your organization, RAG Status must be activated in the Settings menu by an Administrator to be functional within your site. Activating this feature authorizes GUIDEcx to use your project data with AI to create outputs.
Data & Security
All of your org’s data is siloed and only used by your org. We are not using your data to train any language models. Your data remains secure and won’t be used inappropriately by GUIDEcx.
Data Processed: Data may include user-inputted text, metadata, and contextual information within the GUIDEcx platform. No credentials, authentication tokens, or other sensitive elements are shared. All data is handled in accordance with GUIDEcx’s security and privacy standards.
How does GUIDEcx’s RAG Agentic Coach leverage AI?
There’s a wealth of data within GUIDEcx projects—from overall project status to individual task updates and messages. But navigating all that information can be time-consuming, especially as the number of active projects grows. RAG takes that burden off project managers by using AI to analyze project data and assess overall health. It then provides a clear status for each project, along with explanations and tailored mitigation plans to help PMs get projects back on track quickly and confidently.
Where can I see RAG status?
Once RAG is enabled for your organization it is displayed in two different areas within GUIDEcx:
1. Project Table- RAG is available as a column to view on the Projects page in GUIDE 2.0. Users will need to toggle RAG on within the column menu configuration.
2. Overview Tab within a project

How do I trigger RAG to run on a particular project?
Currently, we run RAG reports in batches and perform that on a weekly basis. There is no “on-demand” option to run a RAG status for a particular project.

While in closed beta, the activation of RAG in your environment is a two step process:
1. Reach out to your CSM to join the beta. A GUIDEcx user will enable "AI" for your organization. This will make the RAG setting appear in the Company Settings menu.
2. An Admin user can then toggle on the RAG option in their Settings. This should be done by a user that has the authority to authorize GUIDEcx to share their data with AI to generate the RAG status and mitigation plan.
