Overview
Identifying and reporting on any action that influences the project's progress promotes accountability and visibility among the team members. The "Activity Log" tab captures every action that’s been made in a project including who made the change and when.
User Access
Any project team member whose visibility is not restricted to “My Tasks” can view the activity log.
How to use Activity Log filters
The Activity Log has preset filters for your convenience
1. The “Project-Related” filter shows everything related to the project itself.
Project status changes
Date changes
Other project-related changes
2. The “Task-Related” filter shows everything related to tasks.
Task assignments
Changed assignments
Changed statuses
Estimated hours
3. The “Notes-Related” filter shows everything related to Notes.
Project Notes added
Task Notes added
When and who added these notes.
Best Practices
You may restrict a customer's or third-party user's visibility to the "My Tasks" view if you do not wish for them to see the Activity Log tab.

The transition of task statuses is captured in Activity Log. A quicker way to find that log would be to toggle to Task Related and search the Task Name on the tab!

Can customers and third-party users see actions made on internal tasks or internal notes in the Activity Log?
Can customers and third-party users see actions made on internal tasks or internal notes in the Activity Log?
If the task has external visibility set as "Internal Hidden" then the customer will not see any actions made on such tasks in the Activity Log. If the Note is marked internal then it will not show up for customers and third-party.
