Understanding the Email Deliverability Dashboard

Email Activity

Track email "events" each week:

  • Delivered - when an email has been accepted at the receiving server, the delivered event fires

  • Processed - all emails will create a "processed" event unless dropped. Think of this as the # of emails you attempted to send.

  • Deferred - the email did not go through on the first attempt. GUIDEcx will try again over a period of 72 hours.

  • Opened - Tte total number of times an email is opened, including multiple opens by the same recipient

  • Clicked - a link or button in the email was clicked

  • Bounced - the receiving email server has refused delivery of the message

  • Dropped - did not try to send the email because the email address has already bounced

  • Spam Report - the email was "marked as spam"

  • Unsubscribe - the user opted-out of future emails from GUIDEcx

Email Templates

Dive deeper into the deliverability metrics for specific email templates - task, project, and user emails.

Email Details

Drill down into each email - date sent, recipient, email type, and status.

Best Practices

  • Use the Email Recipient to filter by a specific user. i.e., I want to see the emails "shatch@guidecx.com" has received.

  • Use the Email Type filter to filter by email template. i.e. I want to see how the Project Welcome email is performing.

  • Use the Email Event filter to filter by delivered, unsubscribed, or other event types. i.e. I want to see which emails bounced so I can update user contact info or remove the user.
