Notification Center

Our notification center is designed to keep you up-to-date on time-sensitive and important items that occur as they relate to projects.

Notifications get you a quick view of everything important that occurs on your projects in real-time or since your last login.

Who Receives What

General Notification Settings:

To access general notification settings,

  1. Click on the three-dot menu in the navigation rail

  2. Select “Profile Settings”

  3. Click the “Notifications” tab

Changing Your Email / Web App / Mobile App / SMS Preferences

Once you have navigated to "Notifications" within "Profile Settings", you will be able to adjust how notifications are sent + the frequency of those notifications. Settings are defaulted to receive the project overview email weekly and task due reminders one day prior to the due date.

Changing your SMS Preferences

To opt-in to SMS notifications, navigate to the "Details" tab on your profile settings, enter your phone number and check the box to "Opt in to SMS". Once this is done, you will be able to adjust notification preferences for task assignments, task due reminders, and task and project mentions within the "Notifications" tab in your profile settings.

Schedule Emails to Send When Milestones Are Completed

Automated Email Message Upon Milestone Completion

Keep your customer(s) and project team members on the same page when milestones are completed within your projects. A toggle setting within the milestone edit screen allows you to define an email message (from the project manager) that’s sent to the project team upon the completion of a milestone. Keep in mind that Admin, Manager or Guide user permissions are required.

  1. Edit milestones within your template or project by clicking on the three dots within the chevron milestone arrow.

  2. Flip the toggle setting for "Send Message Upon Milestone Completion" and write your desired message.

  3. Emails will be sent automatically when all tasks within a milestone are completed.

Pro tip: Use this feature to congratulate team members for completing a milestone and to prepare them for what's next. This is a great way to keep individuals "in the know" who aren't assigned tasks, but still want updates throughout the project experience (i.e. contract signers, owners, stakeholders).

BCC Yourself on Any Email That GUIDEcx Sends on Your Behalf

Each project has an on/off toggle where GUIDEcx can BCC you on any project related emails. This is a great way to see exactly what your customer is receiving as the project takes its course.

Pro tip: Want to know when GUIDEcx has sent a task email to an assignee? GUIDEcx places a time/date stamp under the task assignee when emails are sent.

A Guide to Sending GUIDEcx Emails From Your Address

By default, all GUIDEcx-related emails will be sent from hello@guidecx-mail.com.This is if you choose not to verify/authenticate your domain with GUIDEcx.

If you’d like to use your own email address for your project related emails, you can set this up by verifying your domain.

Resending the GUIDEcx Invitation Email

On the team screen of your project, you can see whether your team members have accepted your invitation or not. If someone has not yet accepted the invite you will see a resend invite link on the bottom of their user card (inside the blue box below). The button will send a new email invite straight to the user's inbox. This is great for customers and third-party users!

Any user (internal, customer, or third party) can resend an invite to internal users.

  1. Go to the login screen at app.guidecx.com.

  2. Click the “Resend Invite” button below the login button.

  3. The user will be asked to input their email address and submit which will initiate a new invitation email to the user.
