How Do I Edit the Customer's Project View?

You decide how much of the project your customer has access to!

Overview

We offer you the flexibility to choose how much of the onboarding project plan your customers see. Sometimes you may want to adjust those settings. Here's how you can do that.

User Access

Admins, Managers, & Guides can edit the customer project view. Customers cannot edit their own view.


How Do I Edit the Customer's Project View?

  1. Access the Project's "Team" tab

  2. Find the customer who's view you are wanting to change.

  3. Click on the action (three dots) button in the upper right hand corner of their team member card.

  4. Select "Edit Project View"

  5. Choose between Full Project View or "My Tasks" Only.

  6. Save your changes.

Can I change the project view for Third Party Team Members?

Yes! The steps to editing their view is the same as above. Just select the dots from the 3rd Party Team Member's card.

Will team members restricted to "My Tasks Only" receive the experience overview in their project invite email?

No. They will still receive a project invite, but the experience overview will not appear.

If I want my customer to get the experience overview, but be restricted to "My Tasks Only" how do I do that?

  1. When you add the customer to your project, do NOT check the "Restrict access to My Tasks" checkbox

  2. Once they have been added to the project team their invite will be sent - including the Experience Overview.

  3. Then you can change their view to "My tasks only" by following the steps above in this article.
