We are introducing a new suite of GUIDE 2.0 datasets to your reporting environment. This update allows you to access and report on GUIDE 2.0 data alongside your existing GUIDE 1.0 data, providing a foundation for building next-generation reports and dashboards.
Overview
As we continue to develop and refine GUIDE 2.0, access to accurate and granular data is essential for your reporting needs. We have pushed a Reporting update that provides you and your team direct access to GUIDE 2.0 data entities.
While your existing GUIDE 1.0 reports and dashboards remain accessible, these new datasets are designed to be the building blocks for the future. By releasing these datasets now, we enable you to begin constructing new reports and familiarizing yourself with the GUIDE 2.0 data structure before the eventual deprecation of the 1.0 environment (end of 2026).
How to Utilize GUIDE 2.0 Datasets
The new datasets are automatically available in your reporting environment and are identified by the prefix "GUIDE 2.0 -".
To begin using them:
Navigate to Report Builder >>> Go to Data.

Search for "GUIDE 2.0" to filter the list.
Select the relevant dataset based on the data category you wish to analyze (see the Dataset Dictionary below).
Build your report using the available columns.
Save your new report to a specific dashboard.

Best Practices
Build New, Don't Replace (Yet): We have retained your 1.0 reports so you can refer to them. We recommend using the GUIDE 2.0 datasets to build new reports rather than attempting to immediately overwrite all legacy reports.
Rebuild with Intention: Use your existing 1.0 dashboards as a visual reference (a "blueprint") to rebuild improved versions using the 2.0 data.
Verify Data Definitions: The schemas for these datasets (internal) do not currently mirror the "External" datasets exactly. We will be adding new columns in the coming year.
Monitor "Batch" Columns: You will notice columns like
_BATCH_ID_and_BATCH_LAST_RUN_in the schema. These are system columns used for data syncing and can generally be ignored for standard business reporting.
FAQs
Q: Will my existing GUIDE 1.0 dashboards disappear?
A: Not immediately. We have left them in place so you can continue to use them and reference them while you transition to building reports with GUIDE 2.0 data.
Q: Are these datasets final?
A: These datasets are ready to use, but you should expect additions. We plan to add new columns and refine the schemas throughout the new year.
Q: Why don't the columns match the "External" datasets exactly?
A: The internal reporting schemas and external API schemas are currently distinct. This is expected behavior during the GUIDE 2.0 rollout.
Q: What should I do if I find data missing from a report?
A: If you encounter issues or believe specific data points are missing, please chat into support.
