Here's your field guide to what's new in GUIDEcx!

What's being released:

New Beta Features:

Updated Branding

We are still the same GUIDEcx we were yesterday, we're just better. . . in all the right places. 😎

We've updated our branding as you can see with our new logo and colors. In the coming weeks we'll incorporate it into our UI.

We understand that brand is more than colors and fonts so please remember as we go through these changes we're still committed to the following:

  • Providing you with the very best customer experience

  • Empowering you to successfully GUIDE your customers through their onboarding journey(s)

  • Above all, help people work better together!

New User Roles and Permissions

In efforts to offer more flexibility with the different user permissions and user roles we are introducing TWO (ok actually THREE) new user types!

  • Manager - This paid license is for those mavericks leading a team that need to do everything an Admin can do except adding other Admin users, see fully loaded costs, and access certain settings (Integrations and Company Settings)

  • Guide - Not all Onboarding Managers, Implementation Specialists, Program Owners are PM's (Project Managers), but they are all guides, so moving forward all PM licenses will be updated to Guide. (Permissions will remain the same)

  • Task Owners - This free license is for the ones who need to add/remove/edit regular tasks in projects they are invited to. They have similar permissions as contributors with the extra caveat above!

Read more about what each user role can do in detail HERE

Task Groups

Group Tasks together and create Task Group dependencies!

After an intense period of testing and refining, we are excited to announce that Task Groups are now out of Beta!

Now Admins, Managers, and Guides can create task groups for a cleaner feel for their project plan. This is great if you want to group a series of tasks under a "mini-milestone"!

Learn more about Task Groups HERE.

New Beta Features!

We're through the features that are available to everyone! Next up are beta features!

If you'd like to be considered as a part of our Beta group, please email your CSM (Customer Success Manager) and they can facilitate that for you! If you don't know who your CSM is, please chat into Support!

The Compass

We're committed to ensuring your clients don't get lost in their onboarding experience.

The COMPASS will help customers know exactly which tasks need to be worked on now, which ones are coming up, and which ones are done.

Read more about it here

Time Tracking Enhancements
Tracking time just got easier.

Every onboarding team should know how much an onboarding project costs them. Thanks to time tracking you can estimate how much profit you are generating faster and easier than ever.

Global Tasks Enhancement

Introducing Pooled Work

Since the launch of our Project Team Builder we've enhanced the Resource Management experience. With that comes a lot of new opportunities for enhancing other aspects of GUIDEcx, such as Global Tasks.

Now users with specific functions can view any open task assigned to their function and work on them to ensure projects reach the finish line faster than ever.

To learn more, please reach out to your CSM.

Project Overview Email Enhancement

Send Project Overview Emails when you want!

With this release you now have more control over when the weekly Project Overview email gets sent. Historically you could send them automatically on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Some customers prefer a weekly cadence whereas others may prefer an as needed approach. Now you can decide which projects receive an automated Overview email and which ones don't! You can also manually send out these overview emails whenever you like.

Integration Platform

Integrate with Gainsight, Zendesk, and more!

We understand how important it is for teams to stay in their software to maximize efficiency. That's why we're building out the GUIDEcx Integration Platform.

Connect GUIDEcx with your favorite apps like Gainsight, Zendesk, Slack, and more to work better together.

Please reach out to your CSM if you'd like to learn more about what apps we can integrate with!

Gainsight <> GUIDEcx Integration

We're partnering with the leading Customer Success platform provider, Gainsight. With this new GUIDEcx integration you can have an even more seamless customer experience from start to finish

If you're interested in learning more about this integration, please reach out to your CSM!

Jira <> GUIDEcx Integration 2.0

With this enhanced Jira <> GUIDEcx integration you can get even more out of it:

  1. You can sync issues from Jira TO GUIDEcx! The goal is to allow your separate teams work better together using their own softwares.

  2. Now you can map to an existing Epic or create a brand new Jira Epic on the Project Level!

  3. You also have the option to sync GUIDEcx projects as Jira Projects instead of Jira Epics

To learn more about this integration enhancement, please reach out to your CSM!

Open API v2

Our Integration Guides have been hard at work beefing up the GUIDEcx Open API. We've updated the following:

  • Improved Project Search

  • Manage Project Team

  • Search Tasks

  • Search Templates

  • Organize Users

To learn more about the enhancements made to this, please refer to the documentation HERE

We are extremely grateful for your continued support and partnership. We are on a mission to help people work better together and we are so excited to grow with you on this journey.
